It’s Juilliard’s extension school that offers open auditions to adult students of all backgrounds. I teach INTRO TO COMPOSITION, where my students get to learn and practice technical concepts within the context of creative projects, and your pieces get read by amazing Juilliard musicians. Now that’s how to learn to compose! It’s not expensive either, so don’t be shy. It can’t hurt to audition.
